Christmas Baby Dress

the dress is red velvet from the waist up and then a sheer bottom that has a red layer underneath. I have black patent shoes and am not sure if i should do black tights or red socks or red tights. i can't seem to find black tights anywhere. please send links to the stores. HELP

If you got it online where did you get it at online??

Go to Wal-Mart if you want several dresses. They are cheap and really cute. I know a lot of people turn their noses up when they hear about buying clothes from Wal-Mart, but you won't have to worry about ruining a $150 dress when she pukes or has a leaky diper. And you can get several for under $50. If you want a special one for a one time use try Macy's or Dillards.

I went to a baby christmas party at our local children's centre today & my son was vitually the only baby there who was not "dressed up" as a father christmas, an elf, a christmas pudding, a snowman or a reindeer!

I didn't want to offend my friends by saying, I really don't like outfits like that I find them horribly tacky so I was just kind of stuck there not knowing what to say when they were all cooing over each others "cute" outfits and asking why my son wasn't "dressed up".

What do you think - cute or wrong?
*there wasn't a dress code or a fancy dress theme - people chose to dress their babies up like this and apparently mothercare sell the outfits!*
boud had my other half done that I'd have told him when he wears one like that his son can, lol, thankfully he thinks they are awful!

My partner came back with a santa baby suit from Mothercare last week. Kind of thing made of polyester that would burn in a minute if left near a radiator.
I had sent him there to get some sleepsuits, and he came back with it...

I find these costumes extremely tacky and not even comfortable to wear for a little body.
I might be a snob but some mothers really go other the top for their babies at Christmas.
A bit of turkey,a sprout,a box and some wrappings and my baby will be fine and dandy.

have you taken your child's picture yet? Just wondering how you dressed your baby for their Christmas photo or how you plan to dress them? I have a 5 month old son.

I have seen many christmas photos over the years and I will always go with a little adorable tux for your beautiful baby boy! He will look so handsome and everyone will love it!
