Clearance Baby Clothes

im having a boy, we have all the staples such as stroller, carseat, crib, bouncer jumper , etc (this is our second) but does anyone know of some places online that have good deals on baby clothes? i used to buy from old navy's clearance but their shipping is getting really pricey!

if you are looking for gently used, try craigslist. It's the best! Or a local second hand shop.

If you want new, look and see if there are any carters or other outlet stores nearby you. It can be worth the trip to an outlet store, there is a gap outlet near me (I live in ky) and it's wonderful.

Otherwise, just shop the clearance racks and sales at regular stores.

Just curious. My hubby and I buy baby clothes that are on clearance or that we just think are too cute to pass up. We have been ttc for 15 months and just got put on Clomid days 2-6 and I'm on CD24. I ovulated on CD22 and hubby said he has a really good feeling about this cycle and wants to go out and buy baby stuff tomorrow. Is this weird or am I not the only one?

I think that is a good to have wishful and positive thinking. Your husband is sweet to be so enthusiastic! My hubby and I have already purchased "gender friendly" toys and decor for the "baby's room," that doesn't quite exist yet...we always make the excuse that we may need a quick gift when the whole time we "un"-subconsciously have purchased for "our" little one... onesies alway make a great babyshower gift, even if its your own ;-)

i am 17 weeks pregnant and going to have ultrasound scan. if i find out the gender should i start shopping. where i can buy afordable stuff? is it a good idea to buy clothes on summer clearance? please give me some idea to shop so i can save some money.

The moment I found out I was pregnant I started shopping! I was sooooo excited! By the time I was 3 months preggy the nursery was done :) I will tell you a little tip - Don't spend tons of money on clothing for that little one. They are only in some sizes a few weeks. Shop ebay, yard sales, clearances... I got my best deals at yard sales. Most of the time the clothing is new, or practically new for pennies on the dollar.

I know that every baby grows differently and it is really hard to predict a baby's growth pattern. But I am trying to get some clothes on clearance for my son-to-be (due Halloween) and was wondering about other babies and what size clothing they wear. Like...how big was the baby when he/she was born and how long did they wear 0-3 months? At 4 months, what size were they wearing? Does anyone care to share what size their children are wearing, so I might have an idea what to buy in what sizes. You would think I would remember this stuff from my older kids...but no :)

My daughter is very tall for her age. She is in the 95th percentile. Anyways she was 8lbs 10ozs and 21in at birth. She started on 0-3mth at 2 months and then at 4 months she went into 3-6 and now at 6 months she is wearing 9-12mth baby clothes. Don't even bother with newborn clothing. They are a waste of money. They grow so quickly. Just get a few 0-3 mth to get you by and then some 3-6 mth. Don't invest alot of money until you can figure out your baby's growth pattern. Just get a few things to get by. They don't need alot of clothes. Get some onesies, warm sleep and plays and a few outfits. That is really all you need. Also get a warm outerwear set of baby ?overalls? <not sure how to explain that....the warm hooded overall set that you can take baby out in. lol Ok that is it. Good luck!!
