Clothes For Babies

I dont care wether people judge me. I buy alot of designer clothes for my daughter. I've bought -

Ugg Booties
Juicy Clothing
Baby Dior
DKNY
Elle
Guess
No added Sugar.

What have you bought and how much do you spend?
I also have Polo Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie & Fitch. My daughter is 5 months old and in a month i probably spend £250-300 on clothes for her!

I always buy designer clothing for my son. Hes got Polo Ralph Lauren, Loads of Abercrombie & Fitch, Armani, Nike and others. I usually spend £15O-200 a month, hes an only child (hopefully for only a short time!!!!)

Kids should look good!

I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I've NEVER seen babies clothes in black. I was just wondering if there is a legitimate reason behind this, or whether it's just that the shops don't think black baby clothes will sell.

As the questions answered previously, a lot has to do with saleability of the item. Most baby clothes available in the stores like target/kmart/walmart/macys etc are mass produced and they order thousands of pieces per style to distribute throughout their stores.

Designer boutiques such as DKNY/Sonia Riekel etc do produce small ranges for children in Black, also boutiques in Europe do the same.
They may produce 4 pieces per store, which still means only a few hundred are produced, so it is not a nightmare tring to sell them.

I have a few beautiful pieces in black with different colored embroideries for my daughter, just happened to get them on sale, but you need to shop boutiques to find them.

I keep seeing those oxyclean and tide to go commercials and they look amazing! But are they safe to use on children's and babies clothes? Do they actually work?

they make baby oxyclean... and both are amazing. they work on just about everything!

I downloaded clothes for my sims 2 baby and i have babies with clothes on but they all are born with the same 1 outfit. They are never born with different outfits but the same green one. How do i change their clothes or get them to be born with different outfits on? PLZ HELP!!

I'm afraid there is no way to change individual babies' clothes, only individual toddlers clothes. It sounds like you have managed to change the default baby clothing, which is great, but unless you download and install another default baby outfit all your babies will be born wearing the green outfit. So if you download and install a white default outfit, all your sims babies will then be wearing the same white outfit.

Let's face it, poopie diapers can overflow. I want to properly clean and disinfect babies clothes, but how can I do that without using products that will then irritate his skin? Double wash? First with bleach, then with none? Do I need to disinfect washing machine tub then?

I tried not to use bleach on baby's clothes as much as possible... though I have to agree, some poop stains must get a little bleach - those I just did what you said, washed twice, round one w/ less than half the amount of bleach I'd use on my husbands socks!

no need to disinfect the washing machine.

but for the normal, just a little bit leaked out of the diaper onto the clothes - I would just wash in hot water... maybe a little extra of your normal detergent and an extra rinse.
