Fine Baby Clothes

I need a website that I can find cheap baby clothes on. We are having our first girl- finally lol and I have nothing and can't afford to buy everything at the stores!!!

if you don't mind going to an actual store [not website] you should see if you have any "once upon a child" stores in your area. they buy and sell new and used baby/child clothes and equipment!!

Any of the dye free detergents - Dreft, Ivory, free & clear, etc...

Be careful of the "Eco friendly" products. Some of them use natural oils for scenting and they can be very reactive for infants.

I use a natural detergent.. and was just wondering was this fine to wash the baby's clothes... or is it a must to use a "baby" detergent like dreft.
I use Natural Elements Purex... It says 100% natural cleaning ingredients, natural fragrance extracts, biodegradable formula, free of dyes, and hypoallergenic... it says it has coconut and palm based surfactants..

dont waste your money on dreft. As long as its clear and free (of scents, perfumes, etc), it's fine.

I washed all my stuff with half the liquid i would on my own clothes, rinsed it twice, and didn't use fabric softener. My dad says it will be fine, will it?

yes, rinsing twice is a good idea ,and use fabric softener in the first ,thereby removing all the soap before the final rinse.also babies don't really like to wear clothes this time of year,plus it's probably better anyway.

To all the kind parents out there,i've recently been made a single dad to a 15month old girl. I have noticed that my baby girls clothes are looking rather dull these days after wash, i seperate them before wash as i thought mixing them up was the cause bit still no joy, my clothes wash fine so i know its not the fairly new washing machine thats at fault. Has anyone got any advise. Thanks

you can get a laundry additive i think its by vanish in most supermarkets. its with all the other washing detergents. anyway put 1 scoop in with your powder always works for my kids clothes xxxxx
