I'm going to a baby shower at a banquet hall and I wanted to know what should I wear. I have this cute black and white flower dress and i'm planning to wear heels but im not sure if this outfit would look to setrious for a baby shower.( remember it's at a banquet hall)?
black and white is serious and remeber dont look like your trying too hard to be serious...dont go over there and wear an expensive bag or anything...where something comfortable yet classy

For my milky pink tube top dress, it looks somewhat plain, but it gives off this elegant look to it. Right under my chest, there will be some beads there, and from there, there is another layer, that goes up and wrap around my neck, turning it into a scarf.
Or...my baby blue tube top dress that gives off a princessy feel to it. It has two flowers attached to a thin strap that leads to a choker on my neck. The flowers are on the left side of the body. And on the top half, it has lines going across like this....
____. _____.______
____. _____.______
____. _____.______
____. _____.______ from the top to bottom with sparkly beads on it. ON the bottom half, its plain except there are flowers spread out here and there.
I love both dresses, and still can't figure out which to wear.
And I dont know what kind of jewelry to wear with the dresses. Also, since both dresses are light-colored, is eyeliner necessary?
And...yes I have a date. I think he would be willing to buy the same colored shirt that I would be wearing. =)
I have side swept bangs, not yet waist length hair. Hair is naturally, brownish-black, not dyed. Not really tanned, but not pale or really dark either. I guess quite a little darker than white.
you describe the dresses thoroughly enough, but what about you? are you pale or tan? blonde or brunette? eye color? these things play a big role in the right color for you to wear.
but if judging solely from the dress description, i would say go with the blue. the ruching that you talk about on the top half usually looks flattering on any body type, and it sounds a lot more formal than your pink one - personally, i think it's a little plain...you want to stand out at prom!
as for jewelry, since the blue one already has something around the neck, simply go for big earrings, added with either a bracelet OR a ring (please not both, dont overdo). and i'd recommend hair up so it won't cover up the flower choker.
I live in CA and I am 13 almost 14 years old. Unfortunately, I don't look like my age and fit a size 10. Now as a teenager I like cute clothes that is in style not like little flower baby dresses. So I need a dress for my 8th grade graduation that is a kids size. So does anyone know of a tween dresses shop that is affordable and high fashion that isn't already a big brand name like abercrombie, wet seal, aropostale, exc.
remember: I need these dresses to be KIDS SIZES I DON'T fit into a zero)
and BTW limmited too is not going to cut it.
gojane.com they have really cute dresses for your age some of them may be to flashy but the dresses r really pretty and for a shop umm try old navy they have cute stuff

Considering this, it goes without saying that you will need elegant flower girl dresses for your little ones (in case you’re attend a wedding and your little ones have been asked to be the flower girls). On the other hand, if you recently became a parent, then you might consider baby dresses. The good news is that you can find dresses for even the most sophisticated tastes!
Flower girl dresses fall in the formal wear category, being suitable for cosmopolitan girls....
