we have wahed the baby clothes and the formal is still there we have put stain removal on it and it will not come out
Hmmm, usually, once it's been washed and dried, the stain's pretty well set. I agree that Tide Stick, Shout, etc. all work well BEFORE the stain is set. You may have to resort to bleaching...past that, it might just be permanent. I wish you luck at any rate.

I would go with something simple and nice. You should be comfortable. I usually wear nice slacks and a dressier blouse - if it is warm out I will wear a sundress and cute sandals.

I don't have a job, I'm a stay at home mum and when I'm not cleaning and running errands I make most of my kids clothes. Really the only store bought things they have are toys (not soft toys), shoes, formal clothes and shoes. I've knitted all their socks, baby booties. Made all their underwear, nappies (diapers) and clothes.
My kids are 8, 5 and 4.
That is so impressive.
My mom used to make all my clothes and I'm so grateful she did. I'm 42 years old now, and I have a small box with my home-made clothes she made me, including my Gypsy costume for Halloween and my First Communion dress. I treasure them with all of my heart.

So, I went out for martinis with an old friend from the East Coast whom I rarely get to see (we’re talking maybe once or twice a year, here, people), and we went to a swanky bar downtown last night, so naturally, I felt the need to dress up. I wore a white collared shirt with french cuffs, my new evergreen-colored merino Elena Solano sweater, and the cutest dark denim trumpet skirt with soft navy tulle edging. And black hose and black pointy-toed “alligator” mary janes.
However, my skirt needed to be ironed, and in my haste to get ready (I worked until 7:30 that night and after dinner, I had only a 1/2 hour to get ready) I didn’t realize that the iron was on the hottest setting and I completely melted/burned a small section of the tulle trim. I tried to salvage it, but just my luck, it was in the front. Luckily, the tulle is ruffled and against dark stockings it’s not really visible, but I was angry with myself all the same.
