I've grown tired of racing stripe tees, solid tees, "witty" sayings tees, and the same ol' solid polo shirts from BabyGap and the rest of the chain baby clothing stores. There's NOTHING that I like. At. All.
Where can I find fun toddler boy clothes that are classic, a little artsy and creative, yet not too expensive?
how creative are you because you can go and get the plain solid shirts and pants and then embellish them your self with applique's or by painting them. That way if you just shop at Target or whatever you will save money adn by you doing the decorating it guarantees that his clothes are not like the rest. Plus if you really get into it then you can make more to sell online on Etsy or at craft fairs.

I am headed to vancouver in a couple of weeks and hoping to get some tips on the best maternity shopping in the downtown area as well as baby shopping too?
I am looking for some unique, different items...for the baby and some fun funky maternity clothes for myself.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I live in Vancouver and have all my life. Your best bet is to go to Robson street and Granville street, right in the downtown core. There is tons of stuff there, maternity, baby, womens, mens, everything! Vancouver is all about funky styles so you shouldn't have a problem finding exactly what you are looking for!!!! Have Fun while visiting, Vancouver is wonderful!!!!

What is the best place to get the CUTEST clothes for baby boys? I am having a boy, but I have had a girl for 9 years now and I have always LOVED buying my daughter clothes...I've always thought boy clothes are kinda dull.
So just for fun.....besides online, because I don't shop online, what store has the cutest baby boy stuff?
Ignoring price I'd say Macy's and BabyGap. They have the cutest stuff! I've only bought a couple items there, though, because it's so expensive. Most of the baby clothes I've bought have been from Target and Old Navy because they are way cheaper. Though, I've shopped from Old Navy.com to get a lot because they have a much better selection than in the store.
At Macy's though, I bought the cutest little leather jacket, jeans, and red button-up shirt outfit. It was on sale for $30, so that's not bad. It's a 9 month size, so whenever he fits into it (we're thinking he'll be a big baby) that'll be an outfit for him to get his picture taken in.
At BabyGap we bought him a newborn size Superman onsie. So cute!
This is an honest marketing research question, not spam. Since I'm going to be a grandfather in about 5 months, I thought it might be fun to offer unusual designs for baby bibs and baby clothes. The problem is that whatever I think is cool and hip might not be cool and hip to others.
For example, do people like "cutesy" baby stuff, like "I love grandma," or do they prefer Gothic designs? How important is being able to add personalization (names or monograms) to the products?
I would like to get as many responses to this question as possible, so I can make a wide variety of options available.
To get an idea of the very few concepts I have currently, look at http://www.coolbabycool.com.
Thanks!
Very nice!
Go for the personalization, for sure. So many people are using unusual baby names these days, or unusual spellings, so this will be very much in demand.
What I personally would love to see would be celtic stuff...knots, spirals, and illuminated style letters, like the fancy capitals found in storybooks. Also celtic animal art.
Can you do penguins? those are my son's favorite. Some kind of baby bat would be good for goth babies.
Love Bill Haley, too. Could you do Buddy Holly? Another good retro design would be those stylized spotted mushrooms from the 70's.
You could also consider doing those ballet slippers to black and adding some details to make them look like Irish dance shoes, that would be great.
Careful about the fonts, though, while the variety is great you don't want to leave yourself open for any copyright infringement suits.

Stylish organic baby clothes
Organic baby clothes are generally super soft, whether they're made with 100% certified organic cotton or bamboo. Don't think of today's organic baby clothes as something with no fashion sense. Instead, the increasing popularity of organic baby items introduced new lines of stylish organic baby clothing.
Many organic baby clothes are in natural color, but you can also find bold color organic baby items, if that's what you prefer. Regardless, you'll feel good about the gift and your gift recipients (the parent and the baby!) will love the softness of the organic baby clothing and appreciate your thoughtfulness.
