Brown Infant Dress

For Gabi and Emmi, who will be about 7 months on Thanksgiving, I liked this dress. Which shoes would look best? I know it's kind of petty, but help anyway. Also, I am aware that they only have 1 of the shoes, but I know a store nearby that carries them.

I washed my infant daughters clothes by themselves. She got a new red coat the other day. I stuck it in the wash with her other clothes (like usual) and it faded two of her items. She had an ivory dress with pink, brown, and green poka dots on it and it is now a shade of pink. And she had a creme shirt with green writing on it that faded to pink. Any help on reversing this? I can't bleach it because it has colors on it that will fade. I tried rewashing it and it didn't help. Any other advice?

i don't know exactly what the stuff is called but its sold right along with the RIT brand of dye for clothing. it will say on the packaging that it will fix colors back to what they were before you faded them. that's what its for so i think it should work perfectly for you. good luck.

I have a 3 yr old and a 9 month old. WELL....... the 3 yr old has quite the sense of humor, unless she thanks this type of thang is normal, not sure! Anyways, so I walk into the bathroom and Gretchen (3 yr old) had Brewster (9 m.o.) playing "dress up". I nearly threw up in my soup when I saw that Gretchen had scotch taped a tampon onto each one of Brewsters lil ears. And she made a mohawk hairstyle out of a pantyliner. Worst part is, down south here we can't flush those kinds of things down the twailet, because it can back up the septic tank and you can be up to your knees in the brown stuff! NO THANKS! No, we have to toss those fun little leftovers right in the trash receptackel, so these little earings and hat weren't exactly fresh from the package! I think she's a natural trash picker just liike her daddy. Looks like its time to put a lock on the trash caan! Poor lil bugger. Any recommendations for discipline my Gretchen? Don't worry, I disinfected the baby with lysol wipes and sanitary napkins!

My recommendation is that you pay more attention to your children. They were obviously unattended for a period of time long enough for this scenario to occur, assuming it is true. It could have been much more tragic. The bathroom is a dangerous place.

My sister is coming to visit from Oregon for 1 day for my Moms Birthday. It will be the first time all of the grandchildren are together, and we are going to have a photo made of all 5 of the grandchildren for my moms birthday. It is a very big deal. We are trying to come up with a theme for the photo, so the girls look similar but still accentuate their differences, i.e. spring dresses, etc. But we can't come up with something that will work well as the 5 girls are very different in ages and looks. They are

Natalie-12-(size 16) heavyset, tall, dark olive skin, long brown super curly hair
Haley-10 -(10/12 girls) slender, normal height, fair skin, thin blonde medium length hair
Lexi-4-(5T) average, tall, tan white skin, thick blonde hair
Athena-3(4T) average, olive skin, thin brown short hair
Rhea-5 months-size 6-12mos- fair skin, dark blonde hair infant.

So you see, the girls are very different, how can we dress them all to "match" but still accentuate their individuality?
Please note, I was only specific about their looks to explain why it is hard for us to come up with something that will be flattering for all of the girls, not to attract pedifiles...wierdo....anyway.
We are very blessed to have such beautiful girls. All very different both physically and in their personalities. I just want to have a picture that celebrates all of them together, but still shows their individuality.
This is a very important photo for our family, as we have never had the opportunity to do this, and it will mean so much to my mom. So I really appreciate the great answers, picking the best will be tough. Thank you everyone for your input.

Something as simple as having them all in the same color t-shirt and jeans. For a causal look. My family had a picture done at the beach and we all wore white t-shirts and jeans. They turned out really lovely.

I saw a picture that was SO beautiful that you could do in addition to the photo of their faces.

It was a black and white photo of a whole family's bare feet. All in a row. You got to see how different yet similar they all were. It was really beautiful. It looked like they all laid on a bed in a row and someone snapped the picture. Really great.

My Nana gave me a reprint of a painting and I have NO clue what it's called or what the story behind it is. There is a woman standing inside what looks like a cave strewn with straw. The woman is dressed in traditional "Jesus-time" garb, with a white wrap around her head and a blue-gray dress/robe. She is holding an infant wrapped in white cloth, and you can't see the infant's face. The woman is facing a cavity in the rock to her right, where white light is streaming and illuminating the cave in which she stands. The woman is gazing into the light. On the floor near her feet, there is a brown clay jar and a shallow bowl of liquid, which resembles water. Under the bowl and beside the jar, there are what looks like a brown blanket and white cloth. Directly behind the woman is a narrow wooden pillar from floor to ceiling. The painting itself is signed "JUDY LAW (c) 1991". Can anyone tell me the painting's name and the story behind it, and/or provide me links for more details?

She seems to be a Mormon artist from Springville, Utah, specialized in religious subjects.
