Infant Toddler Clothes

I'm having my first yard sale soon and I'd like to group the clothes by size and just ask a flat price per item. If I charge $.25 a piece, I won't make much. but $1 a piece is too much. I think, sometimes, people charge a flat price for how ever much you can stuff into a lunch bag.

What do you think? What's a reasonable price per item or bag?

I've got everything from infant sizes (including socks and hats) to 24mos.

I always make a $.25 table, and put odds and ends on it that aren't in the best shape. For newer name brand outfits I usually put anywhere from $2-4 .....
Coats in good condition you can go up to$5-6 ..let people make offers.
It all depends on what shape the clothing is in ...I will spend more on a nice, newer item ....good luck !

eBay is great for wholesale lots or pieces, your local salvation army/ goodwill and other thrift stores, consignment shops/ consignment events, craigslist.org, freesharing.org/,
freecycle.org/, Wal-mart, Macy's, Sears, outlet malls and garage/yard sales.

i want to get some clothes that last and are at a good price where would be the best place to go to target, best and less, big w, k-mart or any others you might want to suggest

Having two girls I have noticed that the Kmart clothes are the ones that have lasted well enough to be handed down. Target clothes are a little more expensive and don't seem to fit right either. Best thing to do is wait until Kmart have the buy one and get 50% off the second. Best and Less are fine but their clothes are really repetitive.

i would have a yard sale but i live in an apt and they dont allow u to have one

I took a 30 gallon tote full of clothes and made $93. For the things they did not buy I ended up putting them in a yard sale and made over $200. I had a lot of clothes and they will only buy name brand clothes like Carter's, Gap, Nike etc. They are always looking for shoes and you need to call ahead because they may be only taking a certain season and the OUAC here will not take corduroy or bath robes, baby towels, etc.
