Layette And Newborn Clothing

BIRTH ORDER OF CHILDREN...


1st baby:You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB / GYN confirms your pregnancy.
2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.
3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.

Well, I'm preg with my first and have not as of yet had to wear maternity clothes, but thats cause I bought some pants a few sizes to big and they are still falling down, so I guess that was not the right idea. and my baggier shirts still fit.

I see the thing about the baby clothes though.

I practice dressing and singing to a teddybear.

Lmao omg I am laughing so hard I can barely type. I have a 12 yr old, a 22 month old, and a 10 month old, and while it's not quite that bad it's close. Your attitude about certain things does change and you relax a lot by number 3. This was hysterical thank you I am currently hiding from the kids lol. Just kidding great post though.

When you get to number five, like me a hardened veteran, you balance the baby over your arm, while putting on the kettle and talking into the phone at the same time...and the older ones become surrogate parents!

It's very funny; I started my family young, ahd 4 very quickly, the a nine year gap until no. 5; my sister has just had her second in two years at the age of 40; and she thinks I am the fountain of all wisdom when it comes to child rearing....
See? There Is a pay-off!

Yes, parenthood changes everything. But parenthood also changes with each baby. Here, some of the ways having a second and third child differs from having your first:

Your Clothes -

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB/GYN confirms your pregnancy.

2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.

3rd baby: Your maternity clothes are your regular clothes.

The Baby's Name -

1st baby: You pore over baby-name books and practice pronouncing and writing combinations of all your favorites.

2nd baby: Someone has to name their kid after your great-aunt Mavis, right? It might as well be you.

3rd baby: You open a name book, close your eyes, and see where your finger falls. Bimaldo? Perfect!
