I'm attending a wedding and I just had a baby. I need to find a boys newborn suit or sweater vest set. I have looked every where but everything is size 3 months or bigger. I would prefer black. Anything but white will do! I need size Newborn! and nothing too expensive.
try macys or jcpenny

I'm really struggling trying to find nice "BABY" clothes for my newborn baby boy. Every shop I go into, seems to only sell clothes, lke I would dress a teenager in. My first born was a girl, and really enjoyed shopping, as you could dress them in really nice outfits suitable for a baby girl. I am really chuffed with my little boy, I just don't want to dress him like his dad. I would like to dress him in nice baby blue or white outfits, in soft fabrics, like what I think a baby should be in.
Please help, I would be most grateful
I've looked in Mothercare, Next etc, and have been dissapointed in their range of baby boys clothes, as I've found most of their clothes to be jeans and dark coloured clothes. As I say, I don't want my new born baby to be dressed like a teenager.
i usually buy my sons clothes from asda, mothercare, and on ocassions next and even tk maxx. i hate it when you see babys in denim jeans, shirts and tank tops. my son only wears light blue, lemon, white or cream outfits, mothercare and asda i find are the best and if you can be bothered to go through the rails in tk maxx you can sometimes find the odd oufit, i find next can sometimes be a little too trendy and grown up for babies under one, but i have just had the spring summer catalogue and they have a few nice little baby outfits which arent too badly priced for next. i love see my little boy who is seven months old dressed in proper baby clothes. hope this helps.

So I know that I am not the only one who has a problem shopping for boy clothing. Other moms on here have mentioned it before too. Any store you go in- there is ALWAYS more and better girl clothing. Now I don't know about you other moms- But I LOVE to shop and dress my 15 month old up. I love for stuff to match. If I have the money then I do it. But goodness gracious it's like pulling teeth if you want cute clothes around here! I mean don't get me wrong- I have found cute stuff but there is just always more options for girls. AND they have girl stores specifically for GIRL clothing. NOT BOYS! Go to the mall- theres Limited Too and Justice. Where are the boy stores?
So here it is- I want to open my own boy clothing store. LOL. Who thinks it's a good idea? But I also want to design my own clothes since theres hardly anything cute around. Would you shop in my store? How do I go about doing this..!? LOL Maybe I should start designing first and get them to sell in other stores- then open my own store up? It would have newborn, infant, toddler clothing.
Name for the store-
Just For Boyz ?
Boyz Only ?
Simply Boyz ?
Limited Boys ? LOL
Just Blue ?
Any other suggestions?
I KNOW! walmart has an AWFUL selection of boy shoes and clothing to be honest. I was there lastnight and couldnt find a thing! :( But they have very cute girl clothes.
haha a treehouse theme would be super cute!
proudmom- yeah i shop at baby gap :) i just bought a winter hat there. its cute. but they are limited too. only will find a couple things i like thats it.
I like the name Just Blue, have you tried shopping at Baby Gap I find lots of cute things there.

I have been to every store in my area and I'm noticing more and more that they seriously don't make clothes cute enough for baby boys. I wanted to find a cute "coming home from the hospital outfit" for my baby but most of the outfits are 3 months and beyond. Why is it that they have newborn dresses and cute outfits for girls, but for boys, the newborn selection is quite limited. Does anyone else notice this? It's driving me nuts.. I have 1 newborn outfit and the rest are onsies and sleepers.. The only cute clothes I have he won't fit in right away.
I agree. Before I found out what I was having, I would look at both boy and girl things, and I would comment on how they just don't make cute stuff for boys! I'm having a girl, but I still glance at little boy things while shopping. I have found just a couple cute things on Target.com and one day I was at Macy's department store and they had a few cute things for baby boys. Maybe you could try there?
When you have a newborn baby and you dress them in girly or boyish clothes (depending on gender), do you get annoyed when people still feel the need to ask you if your baby is a boy or girl?
yes my daughter is get curly hair and i put her in closes that have pink in them but they still feel the need to ask is this girl i say hell yeah what u think don't u see the pink

What's With Dress Clothes for Boys? I Search for Clothes and ...
Every year around major holidays, there’s a particular sting for a mom missing her only daughter. It comes when I set out to find a decent-looking set of clothes for my sons to wear.
Here’s the criteria I’m usually looking for:
Nothing with cartoon characters on them (or skulls & crossbones, thank you very much). Something affordable (I don’t want to spend more than $20-25 per kid), but still made nicely. Something handsome, usually with a tie and collared dress shirt (Orison loves a good clip-on).You’d be surprised how difficult this quest can be. I try department stores, and then the lesser-expensive department stores (Target, Kohl’s), and then move onto stores like Marshall’s.
