Unique Newborn Clothing

I'm looking to purchase a gift for a newborn girl. She's a few weeks away from birth, but she's already gotten so much (clothes, strollers, car seats, etc.) and I don't know what to get her/mother.

Any mothers out there that know of an overlooked unique present that a newborn could really use or that made your life easier? Any thoughts would be appreciated. And let's try to keep it below $50.

I'm an auntie for the first time and I bought my niece some clothes from newborn up to 6 months. I'd love to get her an additional present though. Problem is, I'm 15 and don't have much money as I pay for my own dance lessons. It would also be nice to get something for my sister as baby Ella is getting gifts and she isn't.

Why not make your sis a little basket-
you can go to a dollar store and get some pink bubble bath, pink candles, a pink wash cloth, lotion, nail kit items-
just some things that she will be able to use to pamper herself and it won't cost you much

My sister is due to have a newborn baby boy pretty soon and I want to get them a nice gift, but not the average gift of clothes or toys. The newborn already has all the clothes, teething rings, diapers, etc. from his older brother when he was a baby and from the shower. So I want to get something more memorable, unique for the newborn baby boy.
I forgot to mention that they haven't chosen a name so personalizing something for him would be great but we don't know the name yet.

I am due in December with a baby boy and things I would love from my family would be like a gift card to get pictures done, maybe a special frame, hand made blankets, in our family every one gets a hand made stocking that has our names on it (get the stocking made and put the name on later), there was a little girl I nannied for and her grandma ordered a book that actually related a lot to the little girl by having family members as characters and the little girl's name in it. I think it was like fairies and the fairies would describe what kinda girl they wanted as their princess and made up something to go with each letter of her name so it came together good at the end. I would love a real story to be able to read to my son, I don't want the one word picture books that it wouldn't really get us to bond and it isn't really a bed time type of story. A bunch of my friends are starting to have kids now, so I want to give them a gift that is really useful and thoughtful. I usually fall back on either a bib, little baby clothes, onesies, or a gift certificate to Target. Is there anything more unique or more useful I can get the parents? Newborns - DIAPERS DIAPERS AND MORE DIAPERS. I know it's boring, but it is VERY useful. Diapers are expensive and babies go through a TON. They are also ok if you get the wrong size, because they are very easily exchangable with or without a receipt.

Fantastic gift for toddlers - they have music CD's and books that you can order personalized with the children's name. Like my daughter (2 years old) has an Elmo CD that says "Come on Mia, let's play a game!" and she just LOVES it. She will listen to it over and over again...

My oldest (five years old) has many books that are personalized with her name printed into the story and she just thinks that is cooler than snot. :)

Also a really nice gift that I have been given in the past was blankets and pillowcases with the children's names embriodered along the edges. It was very nice, and I knew they had put some thought into it. Don't know if you know anyone who does sews, but you should be able to find several shops that do it on commision as well.

My mom is having a newborn baby girl in december and i am throwing her a surprise babyshower. What is a cute and nice present for the baby for Christmas and the party? i dnt just want clothes bt* i want something inexspensive and unique.

Ok, second hand stores are great for clothes that are only wore for a short time. You could get a diaper bag, or a huge basket, and wash all of the clothes with dreft prior to the baby shower. Throw in some new bottles if she is bottle feeding if not, nursing pads are great to have. As for a Christmas party, why not make a cute ornament or stocking with a babys first christmas and the Year of her first Christmas. Good- Luck! I hope this is helpful.
